About
The "Samuraj" Karate Schools section in Cracow has been established in 2007. The trainings are lead by Łukasz Hejnak (4°dan), student of Sensei Waldemar Dąbrowski (8°dan).
The basis for each training is discipline and respect. The classes are fully organised and higher ranks are always eager to help the younger students. Thanks to this attitude, the whole group can push themselves to their own limits without risking any serious injuries. We don't attend any sport events. We focus fully on training Karate in a way to, through hard work, make ourselves better every day.
During trainings we use the traditional Japanese names for all training elements and techniques, so that it's easy for people using different languages to train together in one group. When something needs to be explained in more detail, it is usually done both in Polish and English.
If you have no previous experience, you can only join the beginners group on Thursday at 7 PM. In time, depending on your progress, you will be also granted access to our Monday classes ("Mixed" group).
All you need to participate is some sweat pants and a t-shirt. The formal Karate-gi is recommended but not required to participate.
First four classes are free of charge (regardless if you trained before or not) to let you try out our classes. You can only sign up after the fourth class.
